What is Vardenafil?
Vardenafil is a type of erectile dysfunction medication (ED). It’s classified as the drug phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor which promotes a better erection for those diagnosed with ED. The mechanism of action inhibits the enzyme PDE5. This enzymatic action constricts the blood vessel’s size which can reduce blood flow, this is thought to be the main cause of ED. Phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor drugs like vardenafil act on the blood vessels to keep them dilated and improve blood flow. In the case of erectile dysfunction, this improves blood flow to the penis for a better erection.
How do I know what dosage is right for me?
There are three strengths of vardenafil tablets: 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg, which are all sold at Vytaliving Pharmacy. More often than not, if you are starting out on a Vardenafil dosage you will begin on 10mg. However, this may be changed to 20mg or 5mg dependent on output and how you react to the tablet

| How to use | We recommend that you read the manufacturer’s leaflet in your medication before taking. In addition to following the manufacturer’s dosage recommendation or Pharmacist’s recommendation. The recommended beginner's dose is 10 mg taken as needed approximately 25-30 minutes before sexual activity. After you have used your first set of tablets, a conversation about efficacy and tolerability may held with your doctor or Pharmacist to adjust the dosage should you need it. If the effect was too little the dosage may be increased to 20mg, if it was too much it may be decreased to 5mg. Note, that this is not a daily medication and should only be taken when it's required. Please note that Vardenafil can be taken on an empty stomach or after a meal. Note that absorption of the full dosage may be delayed after consuming a high fat meal. The maximum dose for 24 hours is one tablet. Do not exceed the maximum dosage. |
